IPXAFRICA delivered VSAT connectivity and wireless backhaul infrastructure for DynCorp International's defense contractor security operations in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria — including a Phase II expansion linking Uyo sites to the international airport.
DynCorp International, one of the world's largest defense and security services companies, required reliable satellite communications for its security contractor operations in Akwa Ibom State. IPXAFRICA designed and deployed a full VSAT solution providing mission-critical connectivity to multiple security sites in and around Uyo.
Following the success of Phase I, DynCorp authorized IPXAFRICA to design and install a high-capacity wireless backhaul link connecting the Uyo security sites to Akwa Ibom International Airport. The system used Trango Atlas 5 GHz radios with high-gain parabolic antennas for a reliable point-to-point microwave connection.
