// OVERVIEW · END-TO-END TRANSITION

Converting Merit Energy
to Lambda Energy

Following the acquisition of Merit Energy assets, IPXCOM was engaged to execute the end-to-end transfer of data, systems, personnel infrastructure, and communications platforms into a new operational environment under Lambda Energy.

This effort extended beyond a standard IT migration. It required maintaining uninterrupted oil and gas operations, while simultaneously establishing a secure, scalable, and fully independent technology architecture — including the rapid deployment of a new Houston-based headquarters.

MISSION-CRITICAL OBJECTIVE

"Ensure zero operational disruption while transferring full control of all technology systems from legacy ownership to Lambda Energy — on schedule."

This included field production systems, SCADA networks, corporate IT platforms, and communications infrastructure.

OG-SCADA™MONITORING SYSTEM
// PHASE 02 · SCADA DEVELOPMENT

IPXCOM Develops
OG-SCADA™
for Lambda Energy

IPXCOM developed OG-SCADA™ from direct field experience in geology, drilling, and production operations. The system manages Michigan's largest oil and gas fields — engineered around how reservoirs, wells, and facilities actually behave, not generic industrial automation.

Most SCADA deployments monitor equipment. OG-SCADA™ monitors the asset. The result is operational visibility that engineers trust — not just data technicians collect.

// PHASE 04 · CYBER SECURITY

New Firewalls.
New Networks.
Cyber-Secure by Design.

The Amoco-era gas plants ran on flat, unsegmented networks with no OT/IT separation — a critical vulnerability. IPXCOM deployed new firewall systems and fully segmented network architecture across every Lambda Energy facility.

Segmented OT Networks
Isolated control zones prevent lateral movement of threats between IT and production systems
Zero-Trust Remote Access
Controlled VPN access for field technicians and vendors — no open access to production networks
Monitored Operator Actions
Complete audit trail of all system changes — who did what, when, from where
Ransomware-Resistant Data Flow
Operational data cannot be altered or silently removed — cryptographic validation on all compliance data
