Converting Merit Energy
to Lambda Energy
Following the acquisition of Merit Energy assets, IPXCOM was engaged to execute the end-to-end transfer of data, systems, personnel infrastructure, and communications platforms into a new operational environment under Lambda Energy.
This effort extended beyond a standard IT migration. It required maintaining uninterrupted oil and gas operations, while simultaneously establishing a secure, scalable, and fully independent technology architecture — including the rapid deployment of a new Houston-based headquarters.
"Ensure zero operational disruption while transferring full control of all technology systems from legacy ownership to Lambda Energy — on schedule."
This included field production systems, SCADA networks, corporate IT platforms, and communications infrastructure.

"In acquisition environments where operational continuity is non-negotiable, IPXCOM delivers the expertise, discipline, and execution required to transition entire technology ecosystems — securely, efficiently, and without compromise."
IPXCOM Develops
OG-SCADA™
for Lambda Energy
IPXCOM developed OG-SCADA™ from direct field experience in geology, drilling, and production operations. The system manages Michigan's largest oil and gas fields — engineered around how reservoirs, wells, and facilities actually behave, not generic industrial automation.
Most SCADA deployments monitor equipment. OG-SCADA™ monitors the asset. The result is operational visibility that engineers trust — not just data technicians collect.

Every Field Sensor.
AWS Database.
Online Reporting.
OG-SCADA™ captures every well test, production allocation, and field measurement into a structured AWS database — providing Lambda Energy engineers with accurate, traceable data for every lease and facility in Michigan.
Lambda Energy management and field engineers access live operational data through IPXCOM's web-based reporting portal — no specialized software required, accessible from any device, anywhere.
New Firewalls.
New Networks.
Cyber-Secure by Design.
The Amoco-era gas plants ran on flat, unsegmented networks with no OT/IT separation — a critical vulnerability. IPXCOM deployed new firewall systems and fully segmented network architecture across every Lambda Energy facility.
Complete Wireless Infrastructure
& Software Migration
Legacy Amoco software platforms were migrated to modern, cloud-connected systems. Wireless infrastructure was deployed across field sites for real-time connectivity where fiber was not available.
IPXCOM Delivers
Integrated Software
IPXCOM Supplied Software Solutions deliver comprehensive Oil and Gas Management — from well data lifecycle to geospatial visualization, all integrated into a single cloud-accessible platform.
